REACH SMES WORKSHOP, BRUSSELS, 10-11TH DECEMBER 2013



The European Commission and ECHA want to hear the SME’s


The next deadline established by REACH for those substance marketed in Europe in small quantities (less than 100 tons per year) will occur in mid-2018, this last deadline will surely affect a large number of SMEs which, given their limited resources, may face a major technical and economic dilemma.



The European Commission and ECHA are aware of the challenge ahead for SMEs and want to seek their input and concerns, for it both agencies organized a workshop in Brussels on 10 and December 11 of this year to hear their opinions and to offer them an opportunity to exchange and discuss with other REACH actors.

where they can find a short survey to fill out and where they can indicate which kind of topics they would like to be covered and also their willingness to participate in the workshop in which unfortunately only 50 people can be accommodate 50 people. The travel and accommodation expenses for the SMEs will be reimbursed.
